The nose is fruity, powerful, concentrated and tight. It reveals notes of sherry, cassis cream and slight notes of wild black berries, red cherry as well as hints of licorice, a slight hint of Cuben pepper, cornflower and a slight/discreet woody hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built, slightly powerful and offers a slight mineral frame as well as a small fat. In the mouth this Porto expresses notes of juicy/crushed blackberry and crushed black sherry associated with slight notes of cassis, plum, touches of licorice as well as slight hint of Cuben pepper and spices. Good length and persistence. There is a hint of tobacco and dry fruit/dry fig on the persistence/aftertaste.
