The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight juiciness, a slight acid frame, a slight silky as well as a slight suavity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cassis and slight notes of Quetsche plum associated with a subtle hint of fresh wild strawberry, discreet hints of cacao, spices as well as a discreet hint of cardamom and undergrowth/truffle. Tannins are well-built.
