The nose is aromatic, structured and offers a slight hardness. It reveals slight notes of boysenberry jam, blueberry and slight touches of flowers associated with a hint of ripe/crushed blackberry and chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, tight and offers a slight acid frame, a silky matter, tension as well as a slight minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe cherry, black cherry and slight notes of cassis associated with woody hints as well as a subtle hint of vanilla (in the background). Tannins are fine and very slightly firm/dry.
