The nose is aromatic, elegant, fine, racy and slightly intense/powerful. It reveals notes of crystallized lemon, yellow fruits, candied clementine and candied pineapple associated with touches of spices as well as a hint of fresh ginger, green lemon, nuts and spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, nicely balance, slightly gourmand, nicely built and offers a beautiful acid/juicy frame as well as finesse. In the mouth this Sauternes expresses notes of crystallized lemon, crystallized mandarin and slight notes of ripe vine peach, pineapple in syrup associated with slight hints of juicy green apple, botrytis as well as a subtle hint of verbena, flowers, racy minerality and an imperceptible hint of almond. Good length. Promising!
