The nose is fruity, quite powerful, elegant, well-balanced and offers a slight richness. It reveals notes of candied peach and white fruits in syrup associated with small touches of candied lemon, cooked pineapple, hints of botrytis, nuts as well as a very discreet hint of almond, caramel and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, nicely defined, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acid frame, gourmandise, precision as well as richness (but full of finesse). In the mouth this Sauternes expresses notes of candied lemon, white fruits in syrup and slight touches of candied peach associated with a hint of cooked pineapple and almond/nuts on the finish/persistence.
