The nose is fruity and offers richness as well as elegance. It reveals fine notes of botrytis, lemon and a touch of quince combined with discreet hints of exotic fruit (in the background), spices as well as a subtle hint of ginger and honey. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine minerality, a fine acid frame, a slight unctuosity, richness and fat. In the mouth this Sauternes expresses notes of candied lemon and candied pear associated with slight touches of pineapple in syrup as well as a discreet hint of vanilla, candied mandarin and a subtle hint of fresh ginger. Good length. Beautiful aromatic persistence.
