Commanderie de Peyrassole 2016 – Côtes de Provence

The nose is fresh, fruity, gourmand and offers a certain richness as well as finesse. It reveals notes of raspberry, ripe cassis and slight hints of ripe citrus associated with a subtle hint of violet/fresh plum as well as an imperceptible hint of spices (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave, mineral and offers a beautiful acid frame, a beautiful fat, an aerial side, finesse, juiciness as well as a beautiful dynamism. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of raspberry candy and ripe cassis associated with small touches of green lemon zests, juicy ripe lemon as well as a subtle hint of cherry (in the background). Good length. The aftertaste is relatively suave.
