The nose is fruity, fresh, racy and relatively incisive. It reveals notes of ripe lemon, quince and discreet hints of mandarin zests associated with a hint of ripe pear as well as subtle touches of spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, mineral, racy and offers a slight fleshy, a slight unctuosity, roundness, tension as well as a good volume. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe pear, crushed ripe brugnon and slight notes of quince associated with a subtle hint of mirabelle as well as discreet hints of small yellow stone fruits and very discreet touches of vanilla/sweet spices. Good length. There is a slight hint of green almond and grilled oak on the persistence.
