The nose is fruity, incisive and quite powerful. It reveals notes of Zante currant and dried yellow plum associated with small notes of crystallized lemon, green lemon zests, candied mirabelle as well as a hint of dried white lemon, green lemon zests, candied mirabelle as well as a hint of dried white grape, subtle hints of rancio/caramel and an imperceptible hint of rosewood. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, relatively fleshy and offers an acid frame, a slight minerality, a certain softness as well as suavity. In the mouth this Armagnac expresses notes of candied yellow plum and small touches of quince, peach in syrup associated with a hint of candied lemon, caramel, rancio as well as subtle hints of rosewood/rose, spices and an imperceptible hint of chocolate (in the background). Good length.
