The nose reveals slight notes of blackberry, ripe berries and discreet hints of cassis associated with hints of toasted oak as well as a very discreet hint of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight juiciness, fat, unctuosity as well as a slight suavity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, ripe/juicy raspberry and slight notes of red berries associated with a discreet hint of caramelized oak and chocolate. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of grilled oak on the persistence.
