The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, tight, elegant and offers a nice freshness, a nice fat, tension as well as a beautiful frame. In the mouth this wine expresses slight notes of fresh blackberry, cherry/fresh raspberry and slight hints of crushed cassis associated with a hint of toasted oak, licorice as well as slight notes of dark chocolate (on the finish) and a discreet hint of caramelization on the finish. Good length.
