The nose is fruity, elegant, charming, slightly powerful and offers a beautiful finesse. It reveals notes of ripe/fresh cassis and slight notes of strawberry, ripe/fresh raspberry associated with discreet hints of fresh/ripe blackberry, licorice as well as a very discreet/subtle hint of flowers (on the background), hints of grilled oak/mocha, Cuben pepper and a discreet hint of cardamom/spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, straight, precise and offers a beautiful racy minerality, tension, a slight freshness, fat as well as a beautiful finesse and elegance. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry, ripe wild strawberry and slight hints of fresh raspberry associated with a discreet hint of licorice, cassis as well as slight woody notes, a discreet hint of sweet spices, vanilla and very discreet toasted hints / caramelization. Tannins are very fine and slightly firm. Good length. The finish is slightly gourmande. Beautiful persistence with a very discreet hint of hazelnut as well as a very discreet/subtle toasted hint / chocolate on the aftertaste (that brings gourmandise).
