Caparzo 2014 – Rosso di Montalcino DOC

Caparzo 2014 – Rosso di Montalcino DOC

The nose is aromatic, finely powerful and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of Boysenberry, cassis and slight notes of strawberry jam, chocolate as well as a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper and (very) discreet hints of black olive. The palate is fruity, juicy, supple, relatively gourmande, fluid and offers a mineral frame and a small fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, black cherry, black berries and a discreet hint of strawberry associated with discreet toasted hints and discreet hints of roasting / mocha. There is a discreet hint of dark chocolate on the persistence. Good length and persistence.
