The nose is fruity, relatively fat and offers a slight minerality, a slight fleshy as well as a slight gourmand side. It reveals notes of cassis jam, wild strawberry and blackberry associated with touch of cherry, licorice as well as a hint of tobacco and slight touch of toasted/caramelized oak. The palate is fruity, mineral and racy. In the mouth this wine expresses slight notes of crushed blackberry and juicy cassis associated with slight notes of small red berries, cherry as well as hints of zan, toasted oak and slight flinty notes. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and persistence. There is suavity on the finish.
