The nose is aromatic, relatively powerful as well as relatively concentrated. It reveals notes of cassis and boysenberry associated with small notes of spices, pepper, undergrowth as well as a woody hint and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, fine, sleek, well-balanced and a bit silky. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry and black cherry associated with slight notes of raspberry, juicy wild strawberry as well as a hint of blueberry. Tannins are fine and very slightly dry. Good length. There is juiciness on the finish.
