The nose is elegant, aromatic and relatively tight. It reveals notes of fresh berries, cassis and slight notes of blackberry, red fruits combined with slight / discreet hints of Sichuan pepper as well as a hint of tea and a few discreet (and well-integrated) woody hints. The mouth is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, delicate, supple, relatively gourmande and offers juiciness, a nice acid frame (red fruits) as well as a beautiful fat / roundness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crunchy strawberry, redcurrant and slight notes of blackberry combined with a very discreet hint of licorice and a (very) slight hint of tobacco. Tannins are fine. Good length.
