Château Coussin – César à Sumeire 2015 – Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire

The nose is fruity, quite elegant, slightly gourmand and offers a slight freshness. It reveals notes of strawberry cream, ripe blackberry, small wild berries and slight notes of fresh cherry associated with a hint of woody vanilla, liquorice as well as an imperceptible hint of Tonka bean and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, elegant, silky, nicely defined, well-balanced and offers a beautiful finesse as well as a beautiful freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry jelly, crushed cassis and slight notes of crunchy red fruits (raspberry, redcurrant) associated with a discreet hint of cherry stem, liquorice as well as slight touches of vanilla and discreet hints of chocolate. Good length. Beautiful finesse!
