The nose is fruity, relatively fine and offers a slight elegance. It reveals notes of wild blackberry and slight notes of cassis jam associated with a small touch of black cherry, toasted as well as a discreet hint of tobacco, a very discreet hint of spices and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, juicy, fine, fresh and offers a fleshy matter, suavity as well as roundness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, black cherry, crushed plum and slight hints of cassis associated with discreet hints of wild berries as well as toasted hints and liquorice. Tannins are (very) slightly firm. Good length. There is a slight hint of vanilla on the persistence.
