Domaine Guy & Yvan Dufouleur – Clos des Perrières 2014 Premier Cru – Nuits-Saint-Georges

The nose is nicely elegant, racy, aromatic and relatively full. It reveals notes of boysenberry and small wild fruits associated with slight notes of plum, red fruits and a discreet hint of mocha, gray pepper (very discreet), zan, rose and tobacco. The palate is fruity, mineral, specific, elegant, nicely gourmand and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful volume, an acid frame, a slight freshness as well as a beautiful silky matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed strawberry, cherry and slight notes of blackberry, plum associated with hints of liquorice, discreet/slight hints of toasted oak as well as a discreet hint of vanilla and cacao. Good length and beautiful persistence.
