Clos Gautier – Clos du Château 2013 – Côtes de Provence

The nose is aromatic and relatively fine. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, cherry compote and plum associated with hints of red fruits, cornflower, toasted as well as slight notes of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral and offers a slight gourmandize, a pure fruit as well as a slight fresh frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry and plum associated with slight hints of cassis, fresh red fruits, slight hints of cornflower as well as a discreet hint of liquorice and sweet spices. Tannins are very slightly dry. Good length.
