The nose is fruity and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of cherry and a hint of morello cherry, blueberry associated with hints of flowers, leather/empyreumatic as well as sweet spices/toasted. The palate is fruity, mineral, smooth, elegant and offers a beautiful acid frame, juiciness, a beautiful fat/roundness as well as a good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of cherry cream and raspberry associated with a hint of redcurrant, slight notes of blueberry as well as discreet hints of liquorice and a very discreet hint of caramelized oak. Tannins are fine and supple. Good aromatic persistence.
