The nose is relatively fine, a bit closed and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry, raspberry, spices and slight hints of Sichuan pepper associated with discreet hints of Bigarreau cherry as well as slight hints of olive tree, cumin and toasted/caramelized. The wine needs to be decanted (carafe). The palate is fruity, juicy, suave, well-balanced and offers a slight gourmandize, a slight tension, a small acid frame, a slight smooth, harmony as well as fleshy. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of Bigarreau cherry, juicy cassis and slight notes of plum associated with discreet hints of zan as well as a very discreet hint of olive and toasted. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
