The nose is aromatic, elegant, powerful, fine and offers a slight freshness. It reveals notes of boysenberry and Sichuan pepper associated with discreet hints of racy minerality, cumin as well as slight notes of cassis, wild strawberry and a very discreet hint of rose/flowers. The palate is fruity, juicy, gourmand, elegant, straight, aerial, well-balanced and offers a slight tension as well as a juicy/acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of fleshy plum associated with hints of fleshy raspberry, spices as well as a discreet hint of pepper, oak and a very discreet hint of caramelization (in the background). Tannins are fine and young. Good persistence. A beautiful wine.
