The nose is relatively fine and relatively elegant. It reveals slight notes of undergrowth and a touch of truffle associated with fine notes of blackberry, cassis as well as a hint of red berries and discreet notes of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, fat, round and offers a racy minerality, a fine suavity as well as a fine acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, raspberry and slight notes of red berries combined with a touch of cherry, liquorice, tobacco, wood as well as a very discreet hint of cardamon. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
