Hyde – N°4 Presidents Cask – Rum 1922 Finish – Single Malt Irish Whiskey

The nose is fruity, aromatic and powerful. It reveals fine notes of caramel, hazelnut, spices and fine notes of rum / sugar cane combined with a discreet hint of peat, Bourbon vanilla, verbena, spices as well as a touch of pepper and an imperceptible hint of candied lemon / red plum (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly juicy / gourmande and offers a good roundness, a fine tension and a fine suavity. On the palate, this Whiskey expresses notes of lychee, candied white fruits and fine hints of caramelization / nougatine combined with a very discreet hint of apricot, vanilla, caramel, spices (ginger …) and rum. Good length. A powerful whiskey.
