The nose is fruity and offers a certain small intensity. The wine needs to be decanted (carafe). It reveals notes of ripe black cherry and cassis cream associated with hints of plum, small and very ripe wild red berries as well as hints of liquorice stick, cardamom, a very discreet grilled oak and a slight hint of cacao. The palate is fruity, mineral, relatively silky, relatively elegant, suave and offers fat, a beautiful frame as well as a slight juiciness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blueberry, cherry and slight notes of raspberry jam, blackberry, very ripe small red berries associated with discreet hints of zan/liquorice, tobacco as well as a discreet hint of black olive and cacao/caramelized oak. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
