The nose is aromatic and relatively intense. It reveals notes of mocha, coffee and toasted oak associated with small hints of blackberry, plum as well as discreet hints of blueberry and liquorice. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a beautiful volume, a slight freshness, an acid frame, a beautiful smooth matter as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and slight notes of wild strawberry associated with slight hints of blueberry, liquorice as well as a discreet note of toasted oak. Tannins are fin and (very) slightly dry (very slight over-extraction). Good length and good persistence. There are small notes of dark chocolate on the persistence and a very discreet hint of nut on the aftertaste.
