The nose is powerful and fruity, and needs to be aerated. It reveals notes of cassis, fleshy plum and slight hints of small red berries associated with hints of spices, gray pepper as well as a discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, mineral and offers tension as well as an acid frame. In the mouct this wine offers notes of juicy blackberry and cassis associated with slight notes of plum, redcurrant, mocha, toasted oak as well as a hint of caramelization and very slight hints of vanilla. Tannins are a bit dry. Good length.
