The nose is fruity and relatively intense. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and slight hints of crushed plum and chocolate hints associated with a discreet hint of raspberry (in the background) as well as hints of olive tree/grove, toasted oak, a discreet hint of vanilla and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, fine, fleek, silky and offers freshness, an acid frame as well as a good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis jam, slight hints of raspberry, crunchy Gariguette associated with a hint of tobacco, slight touch of liquorice, oak, sweet spices as well as slight notes of dark chocolate (in the background). Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. There is a slight suavity on the finish.
