The nose is fruity as well as relatively generous and relatively fleshy/concentrated. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of crushed plum associated with a hint a red fruits, Sichuan pepper as well as discreet hints of oak and caramelization. The palate is fruity, fine, sleek, silky, well-balanced and offers an acid frame, a nice fat as well as a good density/concentration. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, plum, black cherry and hints of strawberry/redcurrant associated with touch of liquorice, chocolate, oak as well as an imperceptible hint of balsamic and eucalyptus. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
