The nose is gourmand and elegant. It reveals notes of plum jam, licorice, caramelized oak, cassis and strawberry associated with fine / discreet notes of cardamom, spices and a hint of discreet balsamic. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, relatively depth, quite fleshy and offers freshness, minerality, a good volume, a beautiful matter and a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry and crushed strawberry associated with fine notes of cassis, redcurrant as well as small notes of caramelized oak, vanilla and a hint of chocolate. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length.
