R. Delisle – VSOP – Cognac

R. Delisle – VSOP – Cognac

The nose is fruity, relatively powerful and offers a fine freshness. It reveals notes of orange zests and rancio associated with notes of caramel, candied lemon and a discreet hint of leather, mocha and dried apricot. The palate is fruity, suave, sleek and offers a mineral frame, precision and a small juiciness. In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of crystallized lemon, crystallized tangerine and yellow peaches in syrup associated with a hint of pear in syrup, caramel, pâtisserie as well as a fine hint of chocolate and a few discreet oaky notes. Good length and persistence with notes of caramel, fruits as well as fine notes of alcohol.
