The nose is fruity, racy and quite powerful. It reveals notes of redcurrant / cranberry, cassis and fine notes of blackberry associated with a hint of black cherry, small spicy notes as well as a hint of flowers and a discreet hint of cocoa. The mouth is fat, suave, silky, fleshy, relatively gourmande and offers a good volume, a good density, fat, harmony, a good minerality, a nice juiciness as well as an acid frame (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of red cherry, strawberry and berries associated with touches of blackberry, cassis, small notes of spice, slight notes of cocoa / dark chocolate as well as a hint of coffee, roasted oak and sweet spices. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and persistence.
