Trois Rivières – VSOP Reserve Spéciale – Rhum Vieux Agricole Martinique

The nose is fruity, gourmand, aromatic and a bit fat. It reveals notes of caramel, pear in syrup and candied citrus associated with a hint of peach, brown sugar, honey and a hint of zest, spices, blond tobacco and flowers. The palate is fruity, nicely gourmand, round, suave and offers a nice fat, a nice sweetness and a good definition. In mouth this Rum expresses notes of candied citrus (lemon, clementine) and a hint of zest combined with notes of peach in syrup, caramelized brown sugar, dried fruit (almond …) as well as notes of honey, oak and spices. Good length and persistence.
