Dartigalongue 1972 – Bas-Armagnac

Dartigalongue 1972 – Bas-Armagnac

The nose is fruity and gourmand. It reveals notes of caramel, Pomme d’Amour and slight notes of candied orange zest associated with slight notes of spices (Sichuan pepper, cardamom) and a discreet touch of anise. The palate is fruity, gourmand, round, delicate, fine, gourmande, relatively fleshy and offers a beautiful matter, fat as well as a certain smoothness. On the palate this Armagnac expresses notes of candied white fruit and a touch of crystallized mandarin associated with a hint of caramel, a touch of compote as well as slight notes of licorice, oak and fine notes of flowers. Good length. There is a small freshness on the finish.
