The nose is aromatic and quite elegant. It reveals notes of cherry, dried strawberry and blackberry associated with slight notes of dried cassis, raspberry, hints of tobacco as well as fine notes of violet, a discreet hint of scrubland and a hint of olive. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, racy and offers minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of cherry, cassis and slight notes of plum associated with slight notes purple fig, black olive as well as fine touches of licorice, sweet spices and garrigue. Tannins are fine and slightly dry. Good length and persistence. A nice and “easy-drinking” wine.
