Réserve de la Comtesse 2015 – Pauillac

Réserve de la Comtesse 2015 – Pauillac

The nose is fruity, concentrated, fine and elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis associated with a discreet hint of blueberry, a touch of Zan as well as a hint of spice and slight notes of black tea. The palate is fruity, gourmand, suave, well-balanced, racy, relatively fat, nicely fleshy and offers a nice density (more than on the 2014 vintage) as well as a silky and a quite slight creamy matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry and a touch of blueberry associated with a hint of fig, a touch of liquorice as well as a discreet hint of red fruit, slight notes of coffee (in the background) and a discreet touch of flowers (cornflower). Tannins are fine and well built. Good length.
