The nose is fruity, fine, elegant and racy. It reveals fine notes of redcurrant, cassis, cherry and a hint of flowers associated with a hint of oak, a touch of roasting as well as a discreet note of mocha and licorice. The palate is fruity, suave, supple, precise, gourmande and offers tension, minerality, a lot of freshness, a beautiful harmony as well as a beautiful and silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, plum, cassis and a hint of black cherry associated with discreet notes of red fruits, slight woody notes, grilled notes, dark chocolate as well as a hint of roasting and tonka bean. Tannins are fine and ripe (for an EnPrimeur wine). Good length and good persistence.
