The nose is fine, aromatic and elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of liquorice, oak, spices and a hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a beautiful, silky and slightly unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and plum skin associated with slight notes of licorice, slight toasted notes as well as a few discreet oaky notes. Tannins are fine, a bit grainy and elegant. Beautiful persistence.
