The nose is fruity, gourmand, tight, relatively intense and offers a small concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry cream, plum and slight notes of small black berries combined with a touch of licorice and tobacco. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, finesse and a nice silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, plum and slight notes of black cherry associated with touches of liquorice, toasted oak and a discreet note of caramel. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length and persistence with notes of coffee and toasted notes / cocoa.
