The nose is fine. It reveals notes of ripe fruit associated with a few notes of cherry, crushed black cherries, blackberries and a delicate touch of peony, a few spicy notes (sweet spices, tea …). The palate is fruity, balanced, well-structured, ample and racy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry and raspberry associated with a few slight notes of cherry (in the background) as well as slight touches of toasted oak and a fine touch of cocoa. Tannins are fine and well done. Good length and persistence.
