The nose is gourmand and quite elegant. It reveals notes of violet and ripe fruit associated with a few slight notes of plum (in the background), blackberry as well as slight notes of iris and chocolate. The palate is fruity, fine, elegant, mineral, racy, complex, beautifully balanced, relatively fat and offers a beautiful structure, roundness and a certain juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cherry and black cherry associated with a few slight notes of strawberry (in the background), chocolate, slight hints of spices (cardamom, vanilla …) and a few discreet woody touches. Tannins are fine, elegant and supple. Good length and persistence. The finish is a bit powerful.
