The nose is aromatic and powerful. It reveals notes of candied cherry, plum and slight notes of prune, candied strawberry associated with touches of caramel, dried fruit and a discreet hint of chocolate truffle, tobacco and almond. The palate is fruity, quite gourmand, well-balanced and offers tension, suavity, a good volume and a small freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied strawberry, candied plum and slight notes of candied citrus (lemon, discreet hint of clementine) associated with a hint of sour cherry as well as small notes of chocolate, dried fruit and a few slight woody notes. Good length and persistence.
