The nose is fruity, aromatic, elegant and relatively gourmand. It reveals notes of Zante currant, dates and candied orange associated with fine notes of candied lemon, candied mandarin, as well as discreet notes of walnuts and a hint of spice. The palate is fruity, gourmand, well-balanced, round, well-structured and offers a beautiful fat, large, relatively unctuous and elegant matter. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of candied peach, candied citrus (mandarin, orange) and slight notes of dates associated with a discreet note of dried fig, honey, walnuts and a discreet hint of crushed hazelnuts. Good length and persistence.
