(95% Sangiovese, 5% Alicante). The nose is relatively powerful. It reveals notes of garrigue and gray pepper associated with fine notes of blackberry and black cherry. The mouth is fat and offers a nice matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of cherry associated with slight notes of cassis and touches of blackberry, a few discreet notes of garrigue as well as a hint of liquorice and slight spicy notes. Tannins are fine, slightly dry and slightly grainy. Good length and persistence (with notes of spices, slight notes of coffee and liquorice).
