(100% Sangiovese Grosso) The nose is a bit powerful / concentrated. It reveals notes of red fruit combined with slight notes of plum as well as small notes of dried fruit in the background (red fruit, blackberry), with small notes of spices (pepper) and fine notes of toasted hazelnuts. The mouth is quite fruity, fresh, well-balanced, a bit fleshy, a bit concentrated and offers a mineral frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of red fruit (cherry, raspberry) and blackberry associated with a few fine notes of coffee (in the background) as well as small toasted notes on the finish. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length.
