The nose is complex. It reveals notes of fruits associated with a few notes of truffle, grilled oak, as well as fine notes of iris and spices. The palate is elegant, racy, fine, deep, complex and offers some minerality and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of plum and blackberry combined with very slight notes of red fruit as well as small oaky notes, torrefaction, spices and roasted coffee on the finish. There is a small austerity on the palate. Tannins are well built. Good length.
