The nose is quite elegant and offers a nice concentration. It reveals notes of raspberry candy, blackberry and violet associated with slight woody notes, notes of graphite as well as touches of liquorice and undergrowth. The palate is fresh, racy beautifully fleshy and gourmand. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of flesh fruits, blackberry and plum flesh associated with small wild strawberry notes as well as slight notes of fleshy raspberry, toasted oak, spices and fine notes of licorice and chocolate. Tannins are well built, numerous and a bit grainy. Good length and persistence in the mouth.
