The nose is fine, elegant and quite subtle. It reveals notes of blueberry and blackberry candy associated with small notes of violet as well as fine touches of spices (especially pepper). The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, elegant, balanced, deep, gourmand, complex, deep, a bit fleshy and offers a beautifully precise and a small tension. A nice mineral structure leads the tasting. It’s a bit incisive. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe fruits associated to slight notes of toasted notes, chocolate, sweet spices and a note of saline minerality on the finish. Tannins are elegant and slightly grainy. Good length.
