The nose is fine, elegant, beautifully racy and offers depthness. It reveals notes of blackberry, ripe raspberry and slight touches of crushed cassis combined with a discreet hint of plum, Zan, violet, racy minerality, subtle touches of spices as well as an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper, tea and cardamom. The palate is fruity, mineral, silky, elegant, clean, straight, precisely well-balanced and offers tension, a nice (and fine) grain, a slight acid frame, a racy minerality (terroir), depthness, concentration, a nice definition, a beautiful gourmandise / suavity, tension as well as a slight velvety sensation. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fleshy / crushed cassis, black cherry and crushed raspberry /redcurrant combined with slight touches of Zan, cocoa / tonka bean, toasted oak, caramelization as well as discreet / imperceptible hint of tea (in the background). Tannins are fine and elegant. Beautiful length and aromatic persistence. There are slight touches of tonka bean and licorice. An outstanding wine to have in cellar !
